A Marathon 2 net map by Michael E. Gaines

So What?
Hi all. This is the reason why I dropped working on MME. This map is a representation of the house my wife and I found in April and bought in August. I've tried my best to recreate a lot of what we have in the house, but this is an alpha, and Pfhorte still has some bugs and features to be worked out before I get this map looking like I really want it. In the meantime, you can play Marathon at my house!!

Why only one map?
Because of a bug in Pfhorte, I can't create more than one level in a map file. When that's fixed, this level will be part of an 8 level network map file called "Baraka".

What's with the stupid map name?
It's the date Mary and I signed our life away on the house and moved in.

Why is there water when there is no water?
Well, it wasn't until I played with Pfhorte a bit that realized what I did wrong. In order to do water right, Pfhorte needs to have a 'split line' feature. I can go back and do those surrounding polygons from scratch, but I don't have the time right now. I have to finish the other maps I'm working one.

What's missing from this map?
Neat things like lights, switches, computer terminals, the kitchen sink.

This map is HUGE!
	So is my house.

Where do you park your car?
	In the garage.

How many people can play this?
	Up to 8.

What is the 'hill' for King of the Hill?
	The driveway.

Where is your computer room?
The lower window to the right of the stairs facing the front of the house.

Help! I'm getting my butt kicked in this!
	Practice.

Why do I bang my head going downstairs?
	Because I do.

Known bugs / bug fixes
There are some textures I still haven't aligned correctly. Monsters will not get caught in window sills any more. The ceiling texture isn't quite right yet.

Reviews:
	Neon - "Pretty cool"
	Mary - "That's our house!"
My 4 year old nephew - "Are the aliens going to kill us?"

This was created with Pfhorte 2.0a6. When Pfhorte gets up to speed, this map will be better.

Special thanks to Pfhormerl, roland, and Neon for testing this for me. Thanks to Mary for her comments on the detail of the map ("You can make the whole street!"). Mucho gracias to BUNGIE for Marathon 2.

I still miss the music :(

Things that rock
MiniDiscs, THX systems, DTS and Dolby Digital, Etherwaves, Saturns, Code Warrior, laser discs, super VHS, Enya.
